Prairie Pro Series 2 Release with technology insights

14th MARCH 2022

Thank you to the customers who helped make the Goldacres Sprayer Centre – Bordertown Prairie Pro Series 2 release & technology insights a success.

Jason and the Bordertown team enjoyed catching up with familiar faces along with meeting some new people and explaining the latest and greatest in trailing sprayers, weed recognition, and spraying technology. Interesting insights on emerging technologies were provided by Nigel Thorpe, Specialist in Precision Farming Systems, along with some Goldacres history and direction from Roger Richards (General Manager).

Overall the night was a great success with positive comments from customers to give the Goldacres Sprayer Centre Bordertown great pride in providing quality parts sales & service to the community.

Thank you for your support.

Introducing Simon Williams

1st FEBRUARY 2022

Goldacres Sprayer Centre Goomalling welcomes Simon to the team. In his role as Parts Interpreter, Simon brings with him a wealth of experience from the mining industry where he has managed the maintenance and servicing of international equipment for over 15 years. His ability to respond quickly in urgent matters will play an important role in providing outstanding customer service.
Simon has been a local all his life, growing up on the family farm at Gidgegannup. Later with his wife and children, farmed in Toodyay. Now with the kids all grown up, Simon and his wife made the decision to downsize and are now lovingly restoring a traditional home in Northam. He enjoys supporting and watching local Aussie Rules and supports the Fremantle Dockers. Simon is genuinely a real ‘family man’ and loves to spend his time with family, renovating, gardening, caring for two much loved German Shorthaired Pointers and doting on his one-year-old Granddaughter.

Introducing Natalie Winter

1st FEBRUARY 2022

Natalie Winter has taken on the role of Aftersales Administrator and will ensure your services and repairs are organised quickly and efficiently.  She joins us from the early childhood industry where she brings a wealth of experience in customer service, superior organisation & planning skills, patience, and a desire to continuously improve.

Natalie is very familiar with farming practices, growing up on her parent’s farm and now also helping out on her fiancée, Matt’s family mixed farm. Outside of work, she spends her time on the farm with a love for animals which include sheep and a pet rabbit called “Bunny”.  She enjoys riding in the truck with her fiancé carting sheep or hay. Natalie loves to relax on the Murray River in summer and enjoys camping and would like to learn to drive the family’s speedboat.

Introducing James Rodda

1st FEBRUARY 2022

James Rodda joins us as qualified Technician with more than 7 years servicing the school bus fleet in Keith. He has excellent diagnostic expertise and is excited to grow his skillset to include sprayers and the Ag Industry. James brings with him excellent customer service skills and is looking forward to helping in any way he can.
When not at work, James is not so much a “chill out and relax” kind of guy. He is more likely to be found in various ‘fuel injected’ pursuits including entering in his first season of Speedway Racing. He is excited to now have his own wingless sprint which he loves to tinker with and maintain. You can see him race in March at the Australian Title Wingless Sprints at Murray Bridge. James also spends his time volunteering at the local Kart Club, which is a sport he has loved and participated in for the past 18 years. And finally, he loves to spend weekends water skiing in Tailem Bend, the faster, the better!

Introducing John Shadbolt

27th MAY 2021

John Shadbolt is the Branch Manager of Goldacres Sprayer Centre Goomalling and recently joined the business in September 2020. A Mukinbudin (Muka) man all his life, John has managed the family farm, ”Gumpark” for 40+ years with a focus on grain growing. His first-hand experience on the land means he has walked in our customer’s shoes. He has been the farmer who needs to keep machines running and experienced the frustration caused when that doesn’t happen. He understands the importance of preventing and minimising downtime.
John has proven to be a passionate advocate for sport and it’s importance in rural communities which provides an opportunity to connect. His football involvement has led him being named President of the West Australian Country Football League (WACFL) which is a board that oversees all country football in WA. Having played over 200 games for Mukinbudin Football Club in his youth, John is still a big supporter of country football and loves to watch his son play. John is a dedicated bagpipe player and has performed at special events in the area.
Looking for a new opportunity and too young to retire, John joined Goldacres knowing it would be a challenge that would be both interesting and mesh with his farming experience. He is enjoying the workplace comradery and access to all levels of management, it has a real family feel about the whole business. John’s top priorities are getting to know all the customers and providing the best possible Sprayer Centre experience.
Come meet John at Goldacres Sprayer Centre Goomalling.

Parts, Sales and Support wins Terry over

7th APRIL 2021

I am very impressed with my new 3024 Prairie Special sprayer, a solid, well-made machine with boom suspension that delivers an extremely good boom ride.

It has an excellent filtration system with filters well located for easy cleaning. The EZ Control Station makes the operation of the induction hopper etc simple and effective.

There are many other features incorporated into the sprayer, including super agitator and tank rinse nozzles, which are valuable features.

The ‘marry up to the tractor was carried out ‘in store’ to perfection and it has been a pleasure to work with my new sprayer.

Given the extensive range of parts readily available at the Goldacres Sprayer Centre, Bordertown, I can be well assured of excellent after-sales service.

Thanks again to the Goldacres Sprayer Centre team for their personal and professional approach shown to us during purchase and delivery including the initial start-up of sprayer.

Well done Goldacres Sprayer Centre Bordertown.

Terry Maddern – Kaniva
